A discussion on communication with executives, using the lens of this common management line
I love everything about the article, especially chapter about being positive - it's really easy to affect others with negativity, especially if you also incorrectly assign priority to a given problem (missing sense of priority, as said before). However, I missed one topic - the fact that abusing this principle too much ("don't bring me problems, bring me solutions") may accidentally create a culture where people are afraid to speak about problems early if they don't have a sketch on how to address them (this topic was touched in "The hard thing about hard things") without coming out as... lazy or pessimistic. Small detail to watch on.
An excellent note. 3x5 leadership ran an interesting counterexample yesterday.
